Help celebrate our university awardees with guest speaker the Consul-General of Japan Dr. Kohara.

AJS-NSW offers awards to outstanding students of Japanese at a number of NSW universities. This year we have expanded our awards to include more universities in the Sydney region.

This year our awards ceremony will feature as guest speaker,  Dr. Masahiro Kohara, Consul-General of Japan in Sydney, and co-patron of the Society (along with the Premier of NSW).

Consul-General Kohara will make some remarks on the topic 'Issues in Japan and the Australia-Japan Relationship'.

The outstanding students will receive their awards in company of their professors and AJS members and friends. The guest remarks and awards ceremony will be followed by a networking reception.

We look forward to welcoming members and friends and especially our awardees and their lecturers to what promises to be a lively evening.

Registrations are now open so sign up online here (secure payment by credit card or Paypal) or post the attached sheet.
