  The 2025 University Awards Night will be held on Thursday May 15th, at The Japan Foundation, Sydney.
  

  At this annual event the Society presents Awards to outstanding students of Japanese studies nominated by the eight universities in the greater Sydney region.

  We are honoured to have our Patron, the Consul-General of Japan in Sydney, Mr. YAMANAKA Osamu, to present the Awards and also make some remarks.
  

  The Awards ceremony will be followed by networking over drinks and finger food.
  

  This event is always a wonderful evening and a highlight of our year. We hope to see AJS members and friends, as well as the students, their friends and family, and their lecturers. Registrations are now open; signup online and pay by Paypal or direct to our bank account.

  Building on the success of our inaugural event in 2024, AJS-NSW and co-host AJBCC  invite you to join us for an evening dedicated to strengthening the vital business ties between Australia and Japan.

  You can expect an engaging evening of networking, fostering new relationships and building upon existing ones within the Australia-Japan business community, over a delicious 3-course dinner with free-flowing drinks.

  Registrations are now open, with Earlybird pricing available until July 15. Due to the popularity of the 2024 Dinner, this year we have secured a larger venue. Even so, we recommend early sign-up.
